eBay breach

eBay has urged everyone to change passwords. Though, it has been 3 months without incident and AFAIK that level of encryption would require the hackers to either get very lucky or have access to lots of processing power to decrypt.

Aside from it being wise for people to change their passwords anyway on a semi often basis, am I wrong in assuming the above?

I say largest. Because who really cared about Adobe, relatively. :D

the hackers gained access to 145 million records of which they copied "a large part". Those records contained passwords as well as email addresses, birth dates, mailing addresses and other personal information, but not financial data such as credit card numbers.
