Is lost productivity an ethical reason to vaccinate a child?

Part of the justification for some childhood vaccines (e.g. chickenpox and influenza) seems to be the lost productivity of their parents. This strikes me as unethical. Is it really justifiable to perform an invasive, painful (where the vaccine is given by injection) procedure on a child for the benefit of their parents?
