I plan to declutter a little by replacing sky satellite box, dvd player and amp with a media PC. What I'm looking for is ideas.
Case : quiet (but not necessarily silent) and fairly small. A little fan noise is fine.
DVB S2 card to plus the satellite cable in - dual tuners.
Blu ray drive. I have one I planned to load in my desktop but can repurpose.
OS - agnostic here. Windows or a linux distro or even android?
Remote control: ideally one remote to rule them all.
Sound card : we're not audio freaks but I do have a Mission subwoofer and 5 speakers I'd like to keep.
Any recommendations? My wife would obviously like the case to look unobtrusive.
