Here in Austin they are talking about paying $175,000 to erect a statue in the park honoring the homeless.

Predictably, many homeless people are reacting to this by asking why they don't just use the money to buy them all a sandwich.
At first I thought, "Well, as long as it depicts the homeless in a dignified manner..."
Then I saw a picture of the proposed statue. The single most god-awful piece of crap I have ever laid eyes on.
