How feasible is a manned mission to Ceres?

Going to Mars gets all the attention but what if we wanted to do a manned mission to Ceres? Just how hard would that be? It would seem to me that it would be a good way to test out a lot of the equipment for an eventual Mars mission but on a destination that would be much easier to land on. Also it would still be potentially pretty cool. Maybe a kind of waypost could be setup there. Something that could serve as potential safe harbor should a mission to Jupiter's moons go awry.
