XP - Can I pause/freeze the display so's I can actually read the message?

I'm getting an 'interesting' message when I load a certain website, but it flashes by in a jiffy.



Back in the day of dumb terminals I could pause the display with a <ctrl> combination, I forget which. Is there a Windows equivalent?
