Language incomprehensibity

https://languagelog.ldc.upenn.edu/nll/?p=1024

Interesting article starting with the observation of the English phrase “it’s all Greek to me” to indicate something is incomprehensible. For the languages noted you can display it as a graph and it turns out the graph is acyclic, mean that if language A is seen as more incomprehensible than language B then B is never seen as more incomprehensible than A even indirectly. I.e. no B>X>Y>A.
Interesting or artefact of the selected languages I do not know.
