I am very skeptical of the conclusions made in the article. If we accept that the Earth's spin is slowing down by 1.8 milliseconds/per day per century it would seem possible to work out the total slowdown since the time they specified, ie 2500 years. They conclude that the change would be like 7 hours. How would you approach this as a math problem?
