I cannot emphasize enough how infuriating it is to watch people complain about the Comey and Russian leaks.
Accepting that the information was true (the FBI did review emails, the DNC leaks were legitimate ) nothing the Democrats have complained about is reasonable.
If the information is legitimately bad, a political candidate should not expect to be insulated from it.
If the information is not actually bad (like many argue in this case) then the party is saying their voters are too stupid to handle it.
Now, they are complaining that the fact the Russians released it and wasn't revealed hurts their campaign. Any voter that accepts that the leaked Information affected their vote, but would then change their vote simply because of the source (which doesn't cast any doubt on the veracity) is double stupid. (If they are engaging in a logical fallacy. I am ignoring cases where it altered their knowledge of foreign affairs).
I don't see how this is anything more than Democrats arguing they are the prematurely stupid party. But I am open to a different interpretation.
