Cult deprogramming and ethical influence are the most important topics in skepticism

A lot of people have posted in here that people want to believe in these things and there is no way you can convince someone out of something they want to believe. Such *********** nonsense. We know so much about influence and persuasion and social cues that we can actually rescue people from believing in no planes or voting for trump. It takes work. And people's self-justifying attitudes, self-serving rationalizations, frankly make me want to puke. We've got to suck it up, act like adults and go out there and wage war on stupidity like we mean it, not just to blow off steam at the end of the day or to posture about how rational we are to prospective mates. I'm serious, this trend has to end. Because of Mike Pence ok?
