Hi folks!
Having a discussion about crop circles, with myself arguing that they're all "fakes". The guy I'm talking to claims that "real" circles have bent stalks, and "fake" ones have broken stalks. Stalks cannot be bent by fakers, he says.
I've seen this claim made many times, and googling around all I find is claims that this is so. The skeptic side only seems to question the assertion, but I cannot find any actual proof that stalks can be bent rather than broken easily.
Myself, I presume it's a matter of the type of crop, the humidity, moisture in the soil, etc. But I'd like to have studies showing this, or better still photos/videos of stalks being bent.
Anybody know of any?
