Can any Excel gurus on here help?
What I have is a table with columns for dates to be entered into, with rows corresponding to staff members, all to record dates training was carried out. What I'm trying to do is get the cell the date of training is entered in to change colour depending on the date, and the frequency of training. There are two date ranges for training - it's either every 3 years or annually. So, for example:
Basic First Aid is every 3 years, so I put in the date of training; if it's older than today's date by three years, the cell turns red; if the date is within 6 months of the three year window, the cell turns Amber. If none of those, the cell turns green. I want to do the same for annual training.
I've had a play with conditional formatting, but it only gives me options for date ranges of about 2 weeks.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
