Police make arrest in 40-year-old murders...

Police have charged a convicted child molester with the murders of the Lyon sisters, two little girls who disappeared near their homes outside Washington, D.C. in 1975, and whose disappearance caused parents all over the region to start keeping their kids on a tighter leash. The worst part is that the police questioned this guy -- who precisely resembled a police sketch -- at the time and released him to chase an apparent red herring. I hope people who think they've gotten away with decades-old crimes might start listening for a knock at the door.
