We've known for a while that Freddie Grey's arrest involved possession of a weapon. Sure, it wasn't a gun, but it could actually be described as a less dangerous weapon... and it was even a legal one.
Does the right to carry weapons not apply if you're a black man in Baltimore?
Please note: Arrest records are completely irrelevant. There's nothing in the law - or in proper morality, for that matter - which suggests that those with an arrest record shouldn't have equal protection under the law.
