I have no idea what might be but I have noticed something weird.
One of my email addresses gets a lot of spam. Been using Thunderbird's spam filter which gets rid of most it so that is cool. I basically just empty my spam box and am done with it. Might lose a few good emails but what else can be done.
The thing I have noticed though is that most of the spam I get is weekdays doing what would likely be considered the normal US normal workday. Maybe somewhere from 0800 to 1800. I might get hundreds of spam messages in a day on a bad day. At night, I might receive a doze or two. On a weekend, the situation is similar where I might get a couple of dozen.
Is there a good reason for this disparity?
