TED ban of Rupert Sheldrake. Wrong?

The TED online talk series is a great resource.

Rupert Sheldrake is arguably nuts.

But.

Is asking awkward questions a good reason to ban someone from open debate, or is it censorship?

Some people are less than happy about TED banning Sheldrake (or at least moving his talk from their open database) and are actually planning a protest. There's even a petition.

Have a look.
