Random Unreadable Notification

You know that area on the bottom right of your PC with the notifications? Every so often, maybe 2 or 3 times a day, it'll pop up with some sort of notification but it's only a split second.



I get the sense I'm being hoodwinked by malware or spyware or some such silliness.



Is there a log somewhere on the PC that details what those notifications say?
