POS Windows: anyone know anything to beat this "you don't have permission" crap?

This is enough to drive me to a Mac. Or murder. Or both. :mgbanghead :mgbanghead

If I get one more bleeping "you do not have permission" and/or "you need an administrator to do this" error I'll scream. You POFS lame excuse for an OS, I AM THE #@$ ADMINISTRATOR. I should be able to delete any file I want. And it's not like I'm trying to delete a required Windows systems file etc. (btw this is Win 7 and not networked etc)

2 tricks I learned but that failed on this last one:

1. If an entire folder, try to delete some files/folders within it; sometimes you can do it piecemeal that way. Of course that makes no sense that it works, but again remember, we're talking about Windows.

2. Do this on the command line: net user administrator /active:yes (when I tried this I got "permission denied") :boggled:

Anything else anyone knows that might work? This is a stand-alone .exe file and the kicker is I've deleted/moved it before (not recently).
