Question on an incident in the 1807 Friedland campaign

There is an incident mentioned in David Chandler's The campaigns of Napoleon, page 566 (paraphrased)

..on June 6 1807 during the Friedland Campaign. Two officers carrying fake orders were sent from Napoleon's HQs to Ney with the hope they would be captured and the Russians deceived by the false information. The officers were not told that the orders were faked. One was captured but the other made it to Ney.

Does anyone know the names of the those officers and if this episode has ever been written up?

Thanks
