I stumbled on this by accident when researching if can cancer cure itself. Google provided a lengthy post by Bamboo Delight in support of this theory, and gave explicit reasons for their claim. At the same time, cancer.org(the American Cancer Society) disputes such claims. Yet claims bicarb has been used in conjunction with conventional cancer treatments and for other cures or life saving techniques.
Come to think of it, when watching that old tv show from the 60`s called Emergency One, when at the hospital in the emergency room a star attending physician would call for so many cc`s of bicarb.
So the use of bicarb is nothing new. But in actually preventing cancer or shrinking tumors, it might be more recent.
Down the first google page from the ACS`s rebuttal, there is a study going on at the University of Arizona that seems to show promise with bicarb. Hmmmm.
The skeptic side of me wonders though that if everything the Bamboo Delight says is true, and greed propels Big Pharma and its cohorts to use only conventional medicine and the various practiced techniques as a money making sham....then why isnt there at least one cancer treatment center that gets all the cancer patients, because they are curing every one with bicarb and other holistic approaches?...and can substantiate this. I advise everyone though to study the articles as i have a feeling there are truths on both sides, and you might learn some beneficial things regarding lifestyle changes perhaps that who knows...might save you or a loved one, even if just preventing it in the first place. In closing, the reasons that the ACS gave as to why bicarb dont work was based on a different reason due to yeast infection and ?, that i dont recall given as the reason why it supposedly works in the Bamboo Delight article.
But, as i said...if this so readily works, where is the evidence? If you read that Bamboo article, do not skim. Grasp everything it says, because like i said, there might be at least some truths in this, perhaps.
It`s so intriguing though, i want to contact some researchers on this.
