United States, UK, and EU say that IA's can't hold patents.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office, The European Patent Office, and the United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office have all denied claims on Patents for a food container design and a flashlight design filed by Stephan Thaler on behalf of DABUS, an artificial intelligence program that created the designs.
