CD reads as having different content in different computers

A customer brings in a CD on which there are supposed to be photos.

I insert the disk into the Laptop on the counter (HP Laptop with Win 10 Pro 64 bit). It comes up as a Music disk in This PC. When I explore the disk, it has only a single file called Track01.cda. No .jpg files.

I eject the disk and turn it over to see how much has been burned. Its clear from looking at the bottom that the disk is about 70% burned. If that .cda file is a music track, its a long one.

Next, I insert the disk into the Desktop at the back of the shop (a Compaq with Win 10 Pro 32 bit). It comes up as a Data disk in This PC. When I explore the disk, it has about 2000 .jpg files, and there is not sign of the .cda file

What the actual ****!!? Anyone have a clue what might be causing this.

NOTE: Each computer has only one CD/DVD drive, and there were no USB drives plugged in.
