Mouse died. New one DOA. Shucks.

OK, my Logitech M510 mouse (Low level gaming mouse) died. Left button switch worn out. Since it was otherwise a good mouse, I bought another one, same type. It didn't work (buttons connected OK, but position would fail repeatedly). Hate this. I live on an island and ferry fare is some 35$, so I can't just zip down to have it replaced.

Well, next week going ashore, so ...
