Trump and the National Debt

So Trump got elected and, with the support of the Republicans in the House and Senate, passed a pretty significant tax cut. They didn't need to pay for it right away because economic growth was going to kick in as a result of the tax cuts and it would pay for itself.

Well that didn't happen and now we have the deficit climbing skyward again, and the national debt that was so important during the campaign isn't all that important now, and besides it's really the Democrats fault and.........oh wait. It's still 2016, isn't it? So, none of this has happened yet.

Don't worry. It will.
