The only problems I found with her so far is that she was raised in a pro-psychic environment according to her own words:

I read this in the morning a friend send me this:

Its about Deborah Schurman-Kauflin who claims that she is a profiler and is psychic and had very accurate predictions according to her:
Quote:
I recently retired as a criminal profiler after working on over a thousand serial murder and sexual homicide cases and creating the profiles of female serial killers. I trained thousands of police officers, CIA and FBI agents and interviewed 25 serial killers and mass murderers. I was famous for how accurate my profiles tended to be. Many, many times, shrewd detectives told me I was so accurate it was eerie. There was a reason for that, a truth that I kept secret. I kept this secret because telling the truth about this subject is often taboo. The truth is that I am a psychic medium. |
And she even claims that many policemen use psychics:
Quote:
In law enforcement, it is not something that is widely accepted. However, the majority of detectives who I worked with admitted to going to crime scenes and asking deceased victims for help in solving their murders. I even know a homicide lieutenant who used a psychic to locate a body only to say hed never admit that publicly for fear of ridicule. The interesting thing is that the best police officers are the most intuitive. They get gut feelings about suspects which later prove to be true. Some have prophetic dreams. How often have detectives pursued something "on a hunch?" |
The only problems I found with her so far is that she was raised in a pro-psychic environment according to her own words:
Quote:
From the time I was little, I had spirits around me. I didnt think it was strange because I thought everyone did. My family was very open to psychic phenomenon, and my mothers aunt was also a practicing psychic medium. |
Second that people told her she was psychic and she could start to believe in it:
Quote:
It became harder and harder to hide my abilities when working with police because Id come up with things I had no way of knowing. And more than one shrewd detective outright asked me if I was psychic. |
Third she believes that autistic children are psychic, the same believe many people in the business believe and its total nonsense:
Quote:
While some may scoff, in a 2013 Psychology Today feature, practicing psychic medium and retired criminal profiler Deborah Schurman-Kauflin, Ph.D. recounts the stories of two autistic children who found themselves in uncanny communication with the dead.[2] In both cases cited by Schurman-Kauflin, corroborating evidence that neither child could have had access to, and subsequent sightings of the entities by other witnesses indicated that these encounters were authentic. |

They are special, no doubt about that. They have their own ways of seeing the world and communicating. And though it can be trying at times, having an autistic child can make your heart grow. These children have so many gifts and can teach us patience. But they have other abilities as well. Autistic children are magnets for spirit activity. |
