...studies have shown that while some white individuals answer survey questions with responses that reflect positive attitudes toward blacks, their behavioral responses on certain psychological tests reveal a different story.

There is a tendency by white people to think instinctively more positively about white people. That seems fairly logical, but the question is whether it's all conditioned or if there is some genetic factor to favour people more like oneself, which would seem a logical conclusion.
