Chrome's "spinning tabs"

Not a big deal really just curious if anyone else gets this: once in awhile I'll have a tab in Chrome where I go to a site or another page on a site and it keeps "spinning" as if the site or page was still loading......but it's not. Trying to hit the stop/refresh button does nothing. It doesn't bother anything that I can tell but I'm a little paranoid so I just close it and start a new one. Again just curious what this might be or if anyone else gets it.
