Roll your own gun

One can now apparently mill your own gun "guts" at home. I don't know how much more needs to be added and how available those missing parts are to complete the gun but the whole idea of mass market tool kits available to make your own gun makes me nervous. Isn't this carrying the 2^nd too far?
