Someone please tell me this was a hoax meant to illustrate the stupidity of attempting some of the ridiculous challenges you see on the internet these days... I can't find anything that says it definitively was a hoax, just that people are insinuating it was. Because seriously... who in the ever loving heck would throw boiling water on someone because of a stupid internet challenge? I really don't want to think people could be that phenomenally idiotic, but I've seen some pretty stupid **** that turned out to be true on the internet. Can someone with better Google-fu than me find anything that indicates this was a hoax?
