I recently bought two used jitterbug phones and found them extremely hard to activate. the reason?
1. Minimum 10 minute wait to customer service. Even the customer service people can't put you in the que to the activation dept. You get dropped calling the activation line.
2. 17 minutes for them to collect information on you, expect to be put on hold for 3-5 minutes a couple of times while they call their supervisor.
3. Success! in 1-3 days I will get a call from the technical dept, hopefully in the AM, to select a plan and collect credit card info.
4. The 20$ phone was too old to activate so I guess I had to return it.
5. I am a bit interested in how this phone works. I am a bit hard of hearing and need a louder phone. The 35$ activation fee is a bit of a turn off but I will make the sacrifice.
I got a graphite Jitterbug Flip. This is one huge flip phone. It looks pretty good. I just hope I can activate it someday.
