For the last 40 years (starting just after Mao died) the Chinese have enjoyed economic Expansion at a rapid rate for "40 Freakin' Years"! I have to look all the way back in history to the ancient Athenian Empire (before the Peloponesian War) and the first Expansion of Japan (from about 1880 to WW1) to find anything close, and yet neither of them were as magnificent or as long lasting.
And yet...everyday I read articles in the daily Bidness Magazines about the coming Chinese Bubble (Real Estate, Stocks, Demographics...you name it) - and how these Bubbles are going to blow and lay China low and show once and for all that Brand America's Capitalism is the Magic Elixer of Authentic Economic Growth. Yeah...I'm just waiting for that day. But...when is that day? Why hasn't it come yet?
Why has a Commie Country grown Steadily for 40 Years - the LAWS of Economics say it can't be! (at least ths is what I have read in "Bidness Magazines"). Instead, China has been like a Basketball Team that shoot from the 3-Point Line on every shot and hits "nothing but net" (i.e., no rim, and no backboard).
How do the Commies do it?
