High Schools have hairdressing class and cooking but nothing on mental health.

Teaching the skills of cognitive therapy alongside physical education is a no-brainer for people. This is a suggestion that has been raised for years. Until people demand it, it won't happen.

Sixteen-year-old Mackenzie Gall said she's helping to organize a walkout to show support for peers experiencing suicidal thoughts and to express frustration that the school board doesn't seem to be taking students' views into consideration.

Yes, we of course know that cbt can be preventative in suicide and developing mental illness.
