Socialism Is Calming and Friendly

On a Facebook page, I commented on a thread that Socialism is based upon a humanistic philosophy of fairness and that there was a shared responsibility of stewardship of the environment, of equitable distribution of resources, and of our responsibility to future generations. Even posters that didn't agree acted most civilly, calling the philosophy "self-sustaining" and "sensible" though "idealistic" or "naive."

I just don't understand what s happening. Do all people become reasonable when thinking about and discussing Socialist ideology?
