Standing up for freedom of speech, like Socrates would.

In these times we need to gather together. Despite our believes, be it nazism, communism or capitalism etc. Freedom of speech have been targeted by people that put feelings before democracy. Yes, when mocking and criticizing people, we as intellectuals should not focus on the one giving the argument but on the argument itself. Your right to believe is protected by the the law, but your believes are not. They should be mocked, made fun of that's how we as a society that practices freedom of speech evolves. But recently more and more people have abandon the concept of diversity of ideas but focus instead of diversity of skincolor and ethnicities. Which is healthy we should interact with other cultures but we should also question each others culture.
For example Richard Dawkins was recently banned from a science event for simply putting a link on twitter about a video that compared Islam and feminism.
