I have a decision coming up and before making, but before actually making it I would like to ask some advice from the Forum first.
Specifically, I intend to buy one of those combination home size metal lathe/milling machine/drill press units so that I can do some machining (I am thinking of doing work with small cars, motorcyles, and boats where such a machine could really come in handy for this type of work).
As for the machine itself, it needs to run on single-phase 110 VAC, have a power feed so that it can cut threads, and the manufacturer should also sell an number of accessories for the machine (such as a: 3 Jaw Chuck, Live Center, Cutting Bits, and so on).
While there are several companies which make such machines and tools, but I have never purchased one before.
Therefore, does anyone on the Forum have advice on a preferred machine?
