I've been watching several videos regarding building the pyramids and I have to admit that it seems very hard to believe they could have been built and assembled with such primitive tools. Especially the statues in Luxor.
So I started wondering if there was a simple explanation that would make sense. It occurred to me that if they didn't weigh as much it wouldn't have been so difficult. If the rocks weren't as hard, it would have been easier to shape them.
I'm wondering if it is scientifically possible that the rocks have gotten heavier over time?
This is just a random idea but is it possible that gravity has made them denser? Harder? Heavier?
Any contributions to this discussion welcome.
