In town library (in medical section..... :) ) there is a copy of "REMARKABLE RECOVERY: what the extraordinary healings tell us about getting well" (Hirshberg Barash). In a study break I read a chapter of this book and i found a strange story.....
Leo Perras was paraplegic for twenty years (for an accident) and, during a rev. Ralph Diorio's Show, he stood up and abled to walk again.
When I read this immediatly I thought: "the man had an histeric illness or probably exist a natural explanation for this event"..... After I continued to read and I saw that there was the doctor's declaration. I copy here:
If the muscles were wasted, how did he walk?

Neurologically, his doctor tolf him, nothing in his condition had changed. He still had no reflexes. His muscles are totally wasted. His calves are the size of my wrist. Why he is waking I dont know said Dr. Mitch Tenerowicz, who had been treating Perras for ten years. Leos limbs, he noted, had been so emaciated, that, anatomically, they shouldnt have been strong enough to support him; here was a man who hadnt walked in twenty years |
