Democrats, if your preferred candidate doesn't get the nomination, then what?

I'm primarily a Democrat. My main goal is to help preserve valuable civil rights so keeping the GOP out of the White House is very important to me. I have a Bernie bumpersticker but I'd gladly vote Hillary if she was the nominee. Either way I see myself as upholding my values. Apparently this makes me either evil or stupid according to other Bernie supporters.

So where do you stand on supporting the other?

My personal observation is that Hillary supporters seem much more open to just voting for Bernie, if he wins, than the other way around.
