What will happen afteer the singularity?

The singularity is supposedly when artificial intelligence exceeds human intelligence. What would an intelligent mind be able to do inside a box? I mean I enjoyed The Terminator but exactly how did these robots come about? Who made them?



The last time I saw a computer was enclosed in a container without maniipulatative organs??
