I've touched on this subject before and I've actually met and interacted with people who I thought were evil with no redeeming qualities and a complete total and utter lack of decency and character.
I wrote extensively about a 15 year old boy who murdered a pizza delivery lady because he wanted a ride in her van. I also wrote about a schoolmate who is doing time for aggravated assault and murder. The schoolmate seemed intelligent but he had a mean streak up his back and he took pleasure in hurting people.
Neither of these people ever faced the death penalty. YOu can look both of these people on Georgia inmate locaters. Randy Dobbs is the punk who murdered the pizza deliver girl and Robert Strickland is the classmate who beat someone to death.
I didn't know Randy Dobbs personally but the police said he had committed numerous violence related crimes while a juvenile. The classmate started fights and would lay into his victim with all of his might. He once spit on me for no reason and knowing how crazy he was I didn't do anything about it.
Is there anything that can be done with people like this or should society just wait until they murder someone? Randy DObbs was actually in psychiatric councelling.
