An interesting case. The kid (who's 17) was diagnosed with aggressive lymphoma. She and her parents didn't want the chemo, even though it would most probably save her life; they wanted "natural healing". The kid's oncologists intervened, got legal custody of the kid, and started the chemo anyway. While I might have qualms about taking legal custody from her parents, I think we can all agree that the teen is better served by real medicine.
