Unwashed hair

My hair has now not been washed since the 3rd March. This is because I've been wearing the body brace and the only way it can be removed (by a carer) is when I'm lying flat, so I've been conducting an experiment through force of circumstances! Someone gave me a can of spray dry shampoo, which has been used twice, but doesn't seem to have made much difference. I have been surprised to find that my hair feels quite silky, my head does not itch and people tell me it looks okay! I googled 'unwashed hair' but not much came up. Anybody got any thoughts, scientific information on this, or anything?



I'm hoping the brace will be coming off next week and if someone says to me, 'Goodness, are you still wearing that thing?[, I think I shall not be too pleased!!:)
