I've read Jaws.

Preferred the movie.



I read the first nine books of "Oz" written by Frank Baum. I couldn't read anymore. These sucked hard.



I'm in the middle of Jurassic Park.

While the movie is great, I'm liking the book more.



Here's my list.

It isn't complete.

I keep on thinking of more.

I'm sure people on here will suggest some as well.

I'm also going for the better known movies. Not some $400,000 art house movie that made $229 in sales based on some obscure book.

The Short Timers (Full Metal Jacket was based on this)



Gonna re-read and re-watch "A Brave New World."



I've read 2001 and 2010 (and 2061 and 3001)

I'm sure I've read a few more which I can't think of.



Now, I'm doing my best to keep things spoiler free. If you've read Jaws, you know what I'm talking about. (Who dies and in what manner they reach his/her fate.)





So...any ideas, thoughts, suggestions?
