In fact, it's an apparently-authentic copy of The Gospel Of Barnabus, a work already known to scholars:

Which is interesting in that it contains Gnostic elements but also possibly Islamic references and which might have been put together to tie Mohammed into the Christian tradition.
What's remarkable to me is that like the recently-found Gospel Of Judas Escariot, these artifacts are more likely to be in the hands of criminals, smugglers, and other shady sources than scholars and archaologists. Perhaps not really surprising, since this particular gospel is already valued at many millions of dollars.
