What "Unknown" means and what it doesn't mean.

Since this seems to be a topic of absolute mass confusion among Woo Slingers, let's clear something up.



When something is "Unknown" is means that currently we do not have enough understanding of it to form a full intellectual picture of how it works and how it fits into to our overall understanding of the universe.



It does not mean:



- "X is unknown, therefore it is forever and ever mystically unknowable."

- "Science can't explain X, therefore it just has to be mystical Woo."

- "Science can't explain X, therefore it has to operate under an entirely new set of rules."

- "Science can't explain X, therefore science is wrong about everything, therefore Woo."

- "X is unknown, therefore I can make up anything for X and be right."

- "X is unknown, therefore God."
