I need some help here.
On the way to work, I tuned into the tail end of piece on the local conservative radio talk shows about how "Democrats are the reason we don't have universal background checks" for gun purchases. That caught my attention, but they didn't talk about why that was the case while I was listening.
This is the station that peddles the usual conservative ragertainment, so odds are that it is some half-truth or whole fabrication. However, they are not usually creators of original content, so this is probably a meme out there somewhere. I just can't find it.
Has anyone heard this sentiment and/or know what it is based on?
