[Actioned] No surprise - utterly odious comments from the far right

I've never seen a comment that I find so damned odious. This guy doesn't deserve to be in any elected position.

Totally disgraceful. Even other Pro-Life representatives are distancing themselves from the dip-stick.

It's pretty obvious to me why Trump is taking a sudden interest in Greenland...

The Arctic is melting, opening up a whole slew of potential untapped oil reserves and other natural resources.

Greenland is a stones throw away in all directions and could be set up as a major port and ground base for oil exploration/extraction on the seas. The Arctic will soon be an area of contention that countries and oil barons will be fighting over.

There's no doubt in my mind that Canada is going to have one hell of a nightmare on its hands within the next 10-20 years, fighting to try to protect the Arctic biome in our northern territories and waters while corporations come flocking by the hundreds in search of oil and other natural resources.

Trump wants in on the action before it starts.

Buying the land (or at least part of it) means he has the ability to build shipping ports, accomodations, restaurants, places of entertainment, etc for the hundreds (perhaps thousands) of men and women who will be working for these companies.

In a nutshell: It gives Trump free reign to develop and build to his heart's content when the time comes.

Becoming president has given Trump access to detailed information that he wouldn't otherwise be aware of as a common citizen.... I suspect he has learned a lot about what's going on in the oil industry behind the scenes and its plans of development and exploration in the foreseeable future.

Trump sees dollar signs in everything he looks at and is constantly thinking of ways to try to make a buck for himself. Greenland is no exception.

Telling ghost stories to different ethnics

I patronize a club which is in a pre-civil ware cotton warehouse. It's reputed to be haunted. Some men were loading cotton into this building way back in 1888 and a collapse of some sort killed on or more of them and the story goes that the building is haunted.

The owner decorates the interior with skeletons and ghouls and the manager is an artist who has other friends who are artists have paintings of Frankenstein and werewolves and space aliens all over the walls.

It's Halloween there all year long.

I sit down with a Mexican and tell him the building is haunted and he said he knew eet already.

I tell a Chinese man on business from Peking and he gets frightened especially when I turn on the heat telling him that the ghost likes beer and he better watch his drink. We explored the bar upstairs and he says he feels the spirit.

I tell a Jewish guy and I'm proud to say he says hogwash. He doesn't believe in ghosts and he's not happy that I do. (I don't really). I remind him that his people have Dybuk stories and he says yeah I"ve heard of that but come on do you really believe that (expletive deleted)?

Mexicans, Asians, some Christians believe in the ghost. Jews do not. Yay Jews.

The bar is cool whether you believe in ghosts or not. It draws artists from the Atlanta School of Art and artists in general.

Questioning the existence or non-existence of spirits

Is there anything more desperate than this thought of utter destruction? Holy affections, intelligence, progress, laboriously acquired knowledge, everything will be annihilated, everything will be lost! What is the need of the effort to become better, the repression to contain your passions, to be tired to adorn your Spirit, if you must not recollect it? no fruit, above all, with the thought that tomorrow maybe this will do us no good? If so, man's luck would be a hundred times worse than that of the animal, because the animal lives entirely in the present, in the satisfaction of its material appetites, without aspiration for the future. A secret intuition says this is not possible.
