Faked Hole in the Pentagon

I have a new theory about the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon. That there was no hole in the building and that the damage is merely image fakery.

The attack on the Pentagon can then be summed up as: Smoke machines, gasoline fires plus "Photoshop".

Customs officials destroy virtuoso flautist’s 11 instruments because they were ‘agricultural products’

This is hard to understand. Razgui, a Canadian, says he has gone through U.S. Customs many times before with his instruments and never had a problem. Shall we chalk it up to brainless thugs enforcing idiotic laws?

Immigration politics: a US/UK comparison

I couldn't help but notice, that with the Romanians and Bulgarians becoming part of Schengen this year, there has been a lot of rhetoric that isn't dissimilar from the US towards Mexican migrants, despite the fact that a lot of UK politicians would condemn US immigration policy (insisting on all but open borders) would call for similar measures wrt Eastern Europeans.

Canadian Tax question

Just curious. I am to get paid this Thursday Jan.2. I guess.... because of the holiday, the money went into my account on Dec 31st.... But I get some of the money deposited into my wife's account... That won't go in until Jan 1st.



My question is this. Legally does the money that went into my account on December 31st... around 8pm... Does that money need to be reported on my 2013 T4? Or because it is supposed to go into my account on Jan 2nd... Does it not count as money earned in 2013?



Also... because I split my pay deposit between my account and an account I have joint with my wife and one pay gets deposited on Dec 31 while the other is on Jan 1st... Does the money have to be legally appear on both T4's? (2013 and 2014).
