The Trump path to reelection

How does he do this?

Remember how he won. In an election with low turnout he barely eeked out a win in a race where the Left's vote was split four ways with some abstaining, some voting Stein, some voting Libertarian, and the rest voting Hillary.

Normally after a win a President gets down to being President of everyone and picks up some support along the way making an incumbent President truly formidable to take down outside of an economic or criminal calamity. Even W, who didn't even win the popular vote in 2000, picked up votes by the time 2004 came around.

But Trump seemingly hasn't tried to win over anyone at all. He continues to play and act like he is only President of his true believer base that shows up at his ongoing "Campaign" rallies. His popularity is in the toilet and there doesn't seem to be any indication he has plans to ameliorate this.

So how does he win in 2020? Is he just going to try and count on the same fluky circumstances repeating? Is there a secret plan to try and repeat things? Does he just not care or is oblivious while his staff are totally in it for the moment with no plan for a second term?

I kind of lean towards the latter. He didn't seem to want to win the first time around anyway.
