I know, it's not really a religion. But it should be. The answers to so much can be found there and no other discipline has advanced the human condition as much. Religion in comparison has held humankind back.
There is far more beauty in the images taken by the Hubble telescope than any burning bush. The trail of discovery is far more glorious and awe inspring than the myths of our bronze age ancestors.
Why not teach your children a story about the universe that could be true as opposed to one that definitely isn't.
Wouldn't it be better that your children learned the stories of Tesla, Feynman and Einstein than Noah and Moses?
